Ruby Lucas is trapped in Storybrooke.
No, really, she was all set to leave and everything, and then her grandmother went and had a heart attack, and there was no one else to help her keep the B&B and diner running, so Ruby had to stay after all. She doesn't like it, and she rebels any way she can - taking her makeup cues from Lady Gaga, wearing skin-baring variations on her uniform, dyeing red streaks into her hair, flirting as much as she can. She's got quite the wild streak, though underneath it all, she's really quite scared; she doesn't know what she's good at and she doesn't think she's good enough to fil her grandmother's shoes.
She keeps a glass wolf charm on her car's rear-view mirror for good luck; some days she feels like the only spot of color in this stupid town.

And then, quite by accident, she ate him.
